Day 1 — My First Look At Plugin Profit Site As A 68-Year-Old Affiliate Marketer
Can a regular person over 50 actually follow this system without getting overwhelmed?
So today officially starts Day 1 of this case study journey.
And honestly… I was both curious and skeptical going into this.
If you’ve spent any amount of time in the affiliate marketing world, you already know there’s no shortage of systems promising to make things “easy.”
Usually what happens is this:
- You sign up
- You get hit with information overload
- You’re expected to connect 12 different tools together
- You spend hours trying to figure out autoresponders and funnels
- And within a few days most beginners feel completely lost
Especially for people over 50… that kind of tech overwhelm can be enough to make you quit before you even really begin.
That’s one reason this particular system caught my attention.
My First Visit To The Plugin Profit Site Landing Page
When you first visit the Plugin Profit Site landing page, you’re greeted with a short video presentation and a fairly simple explanation of what the system is designed to do.
Here’s the page if you want to look at it yourself:
View The Plugin Profit Site Setup Page
The overall idea behind the system seems pretty straightforward:
- They help set up an affiliate marketing website for you
- The site promotes multiple income streams together
- The setup is designed for beginners
- Training and support are included
- The process follows a “30 Days To Success” structure
And I’ll say this… compared to a lot of complicated systems out there, the overall message actually felt calmer and more beginner friendly than most.
The focus seems to be heavily centered around simplicity and helping people avoid getting buried in technical confusion.
What Happens When You Click To Get Started
Once you click the button to get your free website and training, you’re taken to an account setup page.
The process itself is split into two main steps.
Step 1: Basic Contact Information
This part is simple enough.
You enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
Nothing confusing there at all.
Step 2: Join Income Stream #1 — LeadsLeap
This is where things got interesting for me.
Now personally… I’ve actually been a Upgraded Pro Member of LeadsLeap for around 4 or 5 years already.
So I already understand what it is and the kinds of tools it offers.
LeadsLeap includes things like:
- Page building tools
- Email marketing tools
- Traffic exchanges
- Tracking tools
- Affiliate opportunities
So from MY perspective… I understood why it was being included in the system.
But Here’s My Honest First Concern…
If I were completely brand new to affiliate marketing… I honestly think I might feel confused at this point.
And I want to be transparent about that because this case study is supposed to be honest.
Stone basically explains that joining LeadsLeap is highly recommended because it can help you earn faster and gives you access to useful tools and traffic resources.
But if you’ve never heard of LeadsLeap before… you may still be sitting there wondering:
- What exactly IS LeadsLeap?
- Why do I need it?
- How important is it really?
- Is this required?
- What happens if I skip it?
To be fair, Stone DOES say you can simply type “NA” into the field and continue if you’re not ready yet.
So you’re not forced into anything.
But I do think true beginners may need a little more explanation at this point in the process.
Especially people over 50 who may already feel nervous about making the wrong decision online.
One Important Thing I Should Probably Mention About LeadsLeap
Now to be fair… even though LeadsLeap includes a lot of tools and features, it actually IS designed with beginners in mind.
Over the years I’ve used it for things like:
- Landing pages
- Email marketing
- Tracking links
- Traffic tools
- Lead generation
And once you get familiar with the platform, it’s honestly much simpler than a lot of the expensive “all-in-one” systems out there.
But here’s the part that’s important for beginners…
Stone’s training appears to remove a lot of the technical frustration because he or his team actually log into LeadsLeap and help set things up for you as part of the process.
That could be a really big deal for people who normally get stuck trying to connect everything together themselves.
Especially for beginners over 50 who may not want to spend days watching tutorials trying to figure out autoresponders, tracking links, or page builders.
So while I still think complete beginners may initially feel unsure about WHY they’re joining LeadsLeap… I can also see the logic behind it once you understand how the overall system is structured.
What I Actually Liked About The Setup So Far
Even with that concern… I still found the overall process surprisingly approachable compared to many systems I’ve seen over the years.
One thing I noticed immediately:
The setup doesn’t immediately bury you in technical chaos.
That alone is honestly refreshing.
The language throughout the page feels more focused on:
- simplicity
- guidance
- step-by-step progress
- helping beginners avoid overwhelm
And for someone starting online later in life… that matters.
A lot.
My Honest Day 1 Thoughts So Far
So far, Plugin Profit Site feels much more beginner-oriented than many affiliate systems I’ve seen over the years.
However… I can already see a few places where brand new users may still need clearer explanations and reassurance.
That’s exactly the kind of thing I’ll continue documenting honestly throughout this entire journey.
Tomorrow I’ll continue the setup process and share what happens next once the account is created and the actual training begins.
Inside The 30 Days To Success Training Area
After creating the account, I was taken into the main Plug-In Profit Site training area.
And honestly… this is where things started making a lot more sense to me.
Right at the top of the page you’re greeted with:
“Action is the foundational key to all success.”
— Pablo Picasso
Now I know motivational quotes are everywhere online these days… but in this case it actually fits the structure of what Stone is trying to teach here.
The entire system seems built around one simple idea:
Take one small action each day instead of trying to learn everything at once.
And for beginners… especially people over 50… that approach honestly makes a lot of sense.
My First Impression Of The Training Structure
One thing I immediately liked was how the training is broken down into daily action steps instead of giant overwhelming modules.
When you first look at the training table of contents, you can literally see the roadmap laid out day-by-day.
Some of the first lessons include:
- Day 1 — Welcome Aboard & Get to Know the System
- Day 2 — Set Up Your First Ad Campaign in LeadsLeap
- Day 3 — Get Your Opt-In Pages & Pre-Written Emails
- Day 4 — Launch Your Own Site and Get Ready to Grow
- Day 5 — Learn How to Customize Your Site
- Day 6 — Grow Faster with the PIPS Co-op
- Day 7 — Turn On Your Automated Traffic System
And seeing it structured that way actually reduced a lot of the overwhelm immediately.
Instead of feeling like:
“Here’s 500 videos… good luck.”
…it feels more like:
“Just focus on TODAY’S task.”
And honestly… that may be one of the smartest things about this entire setup.
What I’m Starting To Realize Already
I think a lot of people fail at affiliate marketing not because they’re lazy…
…but because they get mentally overloaded before they ever gain momentum.
Too many tools. Too many videos. Too many conflicting strategies. Too much pressure to “master everything.”
This system seems to be attempting to solve that by simplifying the process into manageable daily steps.
Now… whether that ultimately leads to real results is something I still need to discover over the coming days and weeks.
But from a beginner perspective?
I can already see why this structured approach might appeal to people who normally feel overwhelmed online.
Tomorrow I’ll Continue The Journey
In the next update, I’ll start digging deeper into the actual setup process, the tools included, and what the first real action steps inside the training look like.
I’m especially curious to see how beginner friendly the traffic and lead generation side of this system really is.
Can You Relate To This?
Have you ever looked into affiliate marketing and immediately felt overwhelmed by all the tools and technical setup?
Or maybe you’ve started before… but got stuck somewhere along the way?
Leave a comment below and let me know.
I have a feeling a lot more people struggle with this than most marketers admit.
